An on-demand healthcare company, founded in the US in 2020, built around returning Covid-19 test results the same day. Later expanded into vaccination and general doctor visits.
Why it existed
Hüttenbach built a corporate testing unit at Quantgene during the early pandemic and saw the same need, unmet, among the general public. SameDay Health closed that gap.
How big it got
Roughly 50 locations across 15 states by 2021. At peak: more than 2,000 employees, more than three million patients served, known for fast, consistent, patient-focused care.
What happened to it
Acquired by Rume Health in May 2023, with care continuing under Dr. Matthew Abinante. Its systems and same-day standard carried forward under the new ownership.
